Medication & Supplement Management
Careful, ongoing oversight of your psychiatric treatment — not a quick check-in, but a real clinical relationship.
Psychiatric medication management at its best is a process, not a transaction. It requires time, follow-through, and a willingness to adjust based on what’s actually happening to you.
At Origin Mental Wellness, our integrative approach ensures that we address every aspect of your health: body, mind, and spirit. While others might offer quick fixes, we prioritize understanding the root drivers to your symptoms.
We monitor how you're responding. Not just whether symptoms have improved, but how you're tolerating your medication, what side effects you may be experiencing, and whether the overall direction of treatment makes sense. We adjust when adjustment is warranted, and we explain the reasoning when we do.
Where relevant, we also use information from our Brain Energy & Metabolism Assessment and GeneSight® testing to inform medication decisions — reducing some of the guesswork that makes psychiatric medication management so frustrating for so many patients.
What To Expect
Regular follow-up appointments to review your response and adjust treatment as needed.
Integration of laboratory and genetic data into medication decisions, where applicable.
Thoughtful management of medication changes. We don't make adjustments without explaining why.
Coordination with your therapist, primary care provider, or other specialists when clinically relevant.
Attention to the full picture. Not just the target symptom, but overall function, sleep, energy, and quality of life.
For some patients, our Brain Energy & Metabolism Assessment identifies specific nutrient deficiencies or biochemical patterns that may be contributing to symptoms.
In those cases, we may recommend targeted supplementation alongside medication. This is a clinical recommendation, not a wellness protocol. We recommend specific supplements when there is a clinical rationale for doing so, not as a default or as a substitute for medication.
